Okay, I have archived all the Fest stories that I've actually received in the mail. There are still a couple of authors who have posted stories here but haven't sent them to me. If you've posted a story and wish it to be archived, please send it to me as an attached plain text or HTML file.
For the authors who haven't posted yet -- you're still welcome to post your stories here, but I will not be able to archive them until late September or even early October.
The archive home site is here.
I want to thank all the authors who have submitted stories so far. I'm totally amazed by the quality of the writing, the variety of the stories and the excellent work you've all done with the challenges. |

Title: No Secrets Better Kept Author: Nimori Pairing: Sirius/James, Sirius/Remus, Sirius/Peter, others Rating: NC-17 Warning: off-screen non-con, underage boys experimenting Disclaimer: Sirius and co. belong to JK Rowling. I make no money from this. Challenge: "Why is one of the boys suddenly getting friendly with a Slytherin?" Summary: The sixth-year Gryffindor boys discover secrecy is a dangerous habit. Thanks: gmth, maeglinyedi, anjenue, and snapetoy
There are no secrets better kept than the secrets that everybody guesses.--Shaw
( Wanking, once Peter discovered its full potential, became the sole extracurricular activity in the second-year boys' dorm in Gryffindor Tower. ) |

Title: Man in the Mirror Author: Donna Immaculata Rating: NC-17 Warning: non-con Pairing: James/Peter Disclaimer: Not mine, alas Challenge & Summary: "Someone has enchanted the Mirror of Erised to lie, and the mistake has powerful consequences." Title: Rarely Pure, Never Simple Author name: hiddendaze (lafoxthorn@yahoo.com.au) Pairing: Sorry, can't tell. Rating: PG-13 (?) Disclaimer: MWPP are copyright J. K. Rowling. I am not receiving any money for or from this (obviously). Author notes: Based on challenge # 32 -> Invisibility cloaks are handy objects to have around, people who are not meant to see certain things may get to see them anyway. Sight unseen, the boys deal with each other's secrets. Hogwarts, years 5-7. 7100+ words.
The title is a blatant bastardisation of Wilde. Much love to Irene for beta work, collaborative brainstorming and generally getting me through, and also to Oona for keeping me on track in the desperate hours.

Title: Elegy Author name: Mariner (rusalka @ ix.netcom.com) Pairings: Sirius/Remus, James/Remus Rating: NC-17 Disclaimer: It's J.K. Rowling's world; I just write in it Summary: Sometimes, you just need somebody who'll understand
Written in response to challenges 8. AU: it wasn't James who died protecting Harry; 7. James wouldn't ever cheat on Lily... or would he? and 19. a mission for the Order goes badly wrong. (I'm not sure if Peter's betrayal counts as a mission going wrong, given that it leads to Voldemort's downfall, but it certainly wasn't the planned result, so I figure it qualifies. :-P)
Big thanks to my intrepid beta readers, ndancer and amptowl, without whom this story would've sucked.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last post.
Based on the responses I got, I'm extending the final submission deadline by one week to July 7. That's as late as I can go and still have time to archive everything. Authors who finish after that can still post their fics to the community, but they won't get archived until I have free time again, which should be sometime in 2009. :-P |
|
Well, the final deadline for the fest is in five days, and looking at what's been posted so far, it seems that either we're about to get a huge tidal wave of fics, or a whole lot of people are going to miss the deadline. :-P To help me plan for either contingency, I would like for all the authors who haven't posted yet to e-mail me at fqfest @ mwpp.pfen.net with the answers to the following questions:
1. Are you still planning to submit a story?
2. If the answer to #1 is "yes", then do you expect to meet the deadline?
3. If the answer to #2 is "no," then when do you think you'll have your story finished?
I'm going to have very limited time to deal with fest business in July, so I need to know what's going on as soon as possible. |
|
I have archived all the stories that I've received so far. Go me. If you've sent me a story and don't see it on the archive, please let me know.
The archived stories include Enchanted by Astro599--Sky Coyote, who doesn't have a live journal, but wrote a fic anyway. :-)Current Mood: accomplished

I'm back! Will be reading stories, sending feedback and archiving like mad for the next couple of days. |

Title: (modernist parentheses) Author name: losselen Pairing: Sirius/James, Sirius/? Rating: PG-13 Warnings: Hmm. Boysex. DisclaimerL I disclaim, all Harry Potter characters belong to JK Rowling. Summary: Remus isn't the only one with a big secret to hide.
( (modernist parenthesese) ) |
|
Final Part. Am not sure I like the ending but I like it enough not to do anything about it. Thank you's to everyone who has already reviewed Part I. And on we go...
( Part IV ) |

And the slash begins as Remus stops being a supporting character.

Title: "When It Alteration Finds" Written by: aralias Pairing(s): Remus/Sirius, James/Lily and Remus/Peter if you want to read into it which I don't *grins* Rating: 15 in england for swearing which is a what? PG-13 or R in America. Warnings: The afore mentioned swearing and of course its inordinate length. 15,000+ words I have warned you. Disclaimer: Suprisingly I do not own any of the major characters. I sort of vaguely own the plot and a number of other people who don't contribute to it in any way as well. Summary: The best way to know yourself is see through some one else's eyes.
Written for challenges: 13: (A hex gone awry causes Peter to switch bodies with either James or Sirius. How does Peter cope with suddenly being Mr. Popular? How does the person in Peter's body cope with suddenly not being Mr. Popular?) 36 (Peter gets a first date. How does each of the boys react, and why?) and 40 (After James and Sirius disrupt Potions class for the umpteenth time, they're forbidden to partner each other anymore)
Voila:

Twisted Fairytales A MWPP FQF Fiction by Majokai Yukiko [yeka_moondoll@yahoo.com]
Pairing: Sirius/Remus Rating: PG Summary: Of house arrests, drag queens and poisoned chocolate bars.
This is an amateur effort and does not intend to infringe upon the rights of J K Rowling, Scholastic Books, and their associates.
Random Challenge: #49: McGonagall has had enough of their antics. She places them on one month's "house arrest" - so they can only be in their dorm room or the library outside of classes and meals. What happens as they go stir crazy?

Title The Wrong Idea Author name (and e-mail if desired) Keil ( keiltagh (at) comcast (dot) (net) ) Pairing Sirius/Remus, implied Sirius/James, implied James/Lily Rating PG Disclaimer Harry Potter and the characters/world/etc do not belong to me, I just love them. No money being made, etc. Brief summary and author notes Challenges: 6) One of the boys wants to borrow the Invisibility cloak from James. What does he want it for? 11) Sirius has a secret admirer. He's sure he knows who it is. He's wrong. 12) One of the boys tries a love spell, with disastrous results.
Due to a serious of mind-numbingly unfortunate events offline, I didn't have quite as much time to work on this as I'd hoped, hence the PG rating, as I decided I would rather put my effort into something a bit shorter rather than hurry something longer. :)
( But I was supposed to be the first to do that. ) |

Title: Whatever You Desire Author: penknife Pairing: James/Lily, James/Peter, Sirius/? Rating: R Disclaimer: They belong to J.K. Rowlings, not me. Summary: Sirius has a brilliant idea for James's birthday, but it doesn't quite work out as planned. Written for challenges #7 (James wouldn't ever cheat on Lily ... or would he?), #12 (One of the boys tries a love spell, with disastrous results), and #35 (Sirius is careless, both in his actions and his words. Who does he wound this time and how will they cope with it?)
